Please find the Job Descriptions for the following positions:

Please note that we do not expect you to have all the skills to do all facets of the business. However, we are looking for people that are willing and able to work and happy to fill another position when needed or give a hand when we are busy. Our office hours in the summer are 08.00 am – 8.00 pm and during the winter they are a lot shorter. So flexibility is an advantage and training will be provided where needed.

Please note also that the Job Descriptions are not perfect and are adaptable so that we can build the right team. Depending on the hours and your adaptability to work in different areas will determine if the positions are full or part time. Most importantly it is important that you have the right attitude and want to make the business a success.

Everyone will have to play a part in:

Customer Service

All of the staff at the Lake Hawea Holiday Park will be expected to play a customer service role whether it will be dealing directly with customers or assisting with a bike or helping provide a service eg filling a hot tub.

Reception

All of the staff at Lake Hawea Holiday Park will need to be able to open and close the office, book in a client and book at tour. They will also need to show someone how to use a fishing rod, hire a guest a bike, exchange a gas bottle and clean and smoke a fish.

Cleaning

All of the staff at the Lake Hawea Holiday Park will need to be willing able to clean well an ablution block, a cabin, a cottage, kitchen, window and clean a bbq.

Grounds

All of the staff at Lake Hawea Holiday Park will need to be willing and able to sweep a path, rake leaves and pull a weed. You will need to be able to pick up rubbish, empty a bin and sort the recycling.

OH&S

All of the staff at Lake Hawea Holiday Park will be responsible and accountable for the OH&S in the park. It is important that our Camp is not only safe for our guests but our staff as well.
